Loveable and chatty “Dog” and his quick-witted chum Jean tell the inspiring tale of a thoughtful shepherd who plants a forest, acorn by acorn, transforming a barren wasteland. As much a touching tale as it is a hilarious puppet show, THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES shows us the difference one man (and his pet!) can make in the world. Winner of the Total Theatre Award 2008, Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Puppet State Theatre Company Based in Edinburgh since 1992, the Puppet State Theatre Company produces high quality shows that tour throughout the UK, including sold-out runs at the National Theatre in London. The Man Who Planted Trees has travelled to arts festivals around the world and won the Eco Trust’s Eco prize for Creativity (2007) and was a sold-out show at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. |
